1965/66 yellow eyed blonde, no
eyelashes
This lovely girl is one of the later versions of the yellow-eyed girls (though still one of the earlier Sashas, as the yellow eyed Sashas were produced only during the 1965-66, the first years Gotz produced the dolls). She is in very good condition, her only flaws being some cut/broken off hairs in a few of her rooting holes (not noticeable, unless one really searches for them, as most are camouflaged by her longer hair) and a couple of small, barely noticeable shiny spots on her face. While the short hairs in a few of her rooting holes may indicate some fragility of hair, it is also possible they are the result of having been cut and/or overly aggressive hair styling. To my knowledge, she does not have any falling (though I have, for the most part, kept her hairstyle as is, in a ponytail). She does, however, have the typical thin spot on top of her head, right around her partial “part”. She is clean and her stringing is perhaps slightly loose in her legs, though she can stand independently. She can be purchased nude or clothed in the vintage Gotz outfit (from the 60’s) which she’s photographed wearing, missing only the undershirt, in excellent condition. (The green coat she wears one of the photos is a repro made by a skilled Sasha list seamstress and is not for sale.) This girl has no peculiar odors and has been displayed in my non-smoking home. Asking price: $700 nude or $900 clothed.

1965/66 Yellow eyed brunette, no
eyelashes – VERY RARE
Like her sister above, this gorgeous girl is one of the later versions of the yellow-eyed girls (though still one of the earlier Sashas). However, unlike the yellow-eyed blondes and redheads, which, though not extremely common, can still be found fairly regularly for sale, the yellow-eyed brunettes are hardly ever seen. In fact, in the past few years of tracking Sashas (on and off) on eBay and elsewhere, I have only seen 3 for sale (meaning, I’ve seen fewer of them than even the no-philtrums and studio dolls) – and amazingly, all three of the yellow-eyed brunettes I saw appeared within a month or two of each other! It’s hard to know whether these dolls are so rare because fewer of the yellow-eyed brunettes were produced than the yellow-eyed girls of other hair colors, or whether fewer survived and/or have surfaced. At any rate, this girl is in very good condition, with all of her original outfit. She has the typical Gotz hairstyle of very long layered hair in back, with fringe bangs and wings. Her hair doesn’t fall at all, but it does have the typical thin spot on top and her bangs are very thin. In fact, a couple of her plugs (in the second row of her bangs) are nearly empty, though this may simply be a factory flaw, owing to the thinness of her bangs. She also has a barely perceptible scrape on the end of her nose and some shiny spots, which can be a bit difficult to capture in pictures. For example, the one that shows up in the first photo below is a bit more pronounced in the photo (at least on my computer screen) than it is in real life. Most of these shiny spots are on her forehead, with a couple on her cheeks, and they generally aren’t very noticeable, except under certain lighting conditions. She has no odors and has been displayed in my non-smoking home. Owing to her rarity and her very good condition, she is priced considerably higher than most of the other Sashas I have for sale. Asking price is $1550 which includes all shipping costs.
